Add 25% off Coupon code in cart (works for whole cart if you order 2):46692910
This effectively lowers your out-of-pocket spending and taxes. Note: It will reduce your rewards payout. You only earn what you pay (less taxes). This makes it easier to liquidate rewards as you won't have to spend as much later to use them.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Why are folks still buying non-rechargeable batteries? The applications for specifically non-renewable batteries is small at this point.
there are times people ask for batteries you don't want to loan rechargeable batteries.

Even less of a gift card if you do the deal in-store using a price match. Sometimes the 16 packs are often as low as $10-$11 on Amazon, or Walmart.
So it does depend on how you want to work it a little, but you have nailed the simplest way to put it if you don't participate in their recycling program.
Bravo. Applause

Just print out the offer or bring your phone and show them at the store.. Walmart is my first choice, but Amazon is also ok IF it is shipped and sold by Amazon. Heck Target and Best buy work too if you are looking to PM them as well..

this isn't a deal. costco has 40 double a for $15 right now.
Yes, and $3 off in costco store brings it down to $13 for 40 Duracell AA

Chat with them and they can credit you if it missed. They are pretty helpful.
Or get ahold of the rewards department after calling their customer service number.

This must be done in store, when your checking out just show them the lower price at a competition website and they will price match the item. One of each, item each visit. ( Example... during one visit you can price match, one Scott's paper towel, one laundry soap container, one hard drive, and one USB flash drive all on one order)

I had a lot of rewards to burn at one time and this was my best option. I price matched 4 different stores, 4 different items, in one order, and used all rewards to pay for it.

Thank you for the information. I'll do that from now on. I also used the battery rewards for these items.

The way you state this you just bought batteries with rewards at a fair price. Cool but that will get you nothing back in rewards. I hope I read it wrong. You only earn rewards on the amount you spend out-of-pocket (less tax), or true OD/OM GCs (not merchandise cards).

PM Amazoon = $12.78 for AAA and $11.19 for AA bateries in 16packs.

or

PM Walmart 16pack (AAA or AA) for 12.78 or 24 pack (AA) for 16.25 if your store is out of 16pack sizes.
That's what I do. PM to Amazon for one pack and recycle ink cartridges Everytime this offer shows up.

Good luck finding something to buy later with your rewards that is not horribly overpriced.
Definitely agree. The one thing that seems to make this worth it is printer ink. When I've checked their prices are in line with Amazon, Best Buy, etc. But outside of this I've not found anything else to buy at Office Depot.

It's a shame when companies have reward programs to increase loyalty only to turn off the customer. I've had pretty good luck with only one missed reward which they corrected but I did have to babysit it. If you walk in an Office Depot and look around its clear they will not make it. Feels like being in a Kmart 10 years ago.

Even massively overpriced ink ain't great unless you're doing archival photo prints. I've been buying Arthur Imaging cartridges for my Canon printer for years off Amazon. Excellent stuff for everyday printing, and I can still do the recycling deal at OD or Staples with it.
