I asked if they can reduce the price of the phone by $5. But apparently they can't and am told I should go into BB in person.

It's because they are taxing like this. $900 - 200= 600 * 6% = $ 42. How did they get the tax down to 26 for you?

Thanks to all the helpful comments in this forum. Just ordered 1 regular and 1 pro model for 2 different numbers. I was getting the unavailable error while adding the phone in cart.. Only 1 phone was in stock in NY area. after few nervous retries, i was able to place the order. Pickup was tomorrow but i scheduled the in-store appointment for a later available date.

i was skeptical whether i could get one pro model, but happy i got it in the last minute Smilie

I'm confused on my tax too. I got the pro max with 12 pro trade in so the subtotal is 199 plus 69.75 in taxes. Tax rate is 7.75% and I can't figure out the math…

The tax is calculated on the total value of the phone - the $200 trade in promo discount. Which in your case is 1099-200 = 899 * 7.75% which will come to the amount you mentioned.

Thank you. I honestly have no idea. I just talked to them on chat. It's weird they do this, I've never seen any discounts or trade in bonuses be subject to tax until now.

Checking in - does anyone know if it's possible to pick up the phone without scheduling an appointment? It refuses to schedule for some reason. The order was already processed.

Did it's work for I m going to pick up my phone and they charge me full tax.should I do cancel it and than re do it in store with other cards

i have 2 Tmobile lines. I am trading in & upgrading. Can I buy more than 2 phones? I need 2 more for my kids. So planning to trade in 4 phones on 2 tmobile lines. Tmobile unfortunately has no coverage at their school so they are on Visible.

Yes you can. I got mixed results on them activating the sim. If they do, you just have to replace the sim on the line and once you unlock it, via tforce (twitter or fb and take up to 3 days), they can pop in their visible sim and use it.
