You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

Good luck!

It's similar to one of my phones. Several phones got unlocked successfully without any action. But the last one stuck at this state (T-Mobile rep said it's approved on their end, but the phone is still locked). Talked with T-Force on FB and asked them to escalate this issue. I also asked him to follow up with their Apple partners. After about one week, my phone was unlocked successfully.
I am in a similar situation, T-Mobile rep said it's approved, however the still phone shows "Sim Locked". One rep said to reset to the factory, not sure if I should be doing it or should i request to escalate the matter?

You can try to connect to iTunes - i think this may help if its unlocked from the back end.

Sharing my experience in case it may help anyone:
  1. Original order: October 23rd (Pro Max - Sierra Blue - 128GB) > ETA was November 26th > BB received it November 8th. Canceled because BB was unable to activate my new T-Mobile account.
  2. Contacted T-Mobile directly and opened an account over the phone. Received/activated new SIM card in 1 day...reordered a new phone with BB that same day using the "upgrade" option.
  3. New order: November 12th (Pro Max - Gold - 128GB) > ETA was December 10th > pick-up notification November 17th > picked up phone today (November 18th)...took longer than expected because BB associate didn't know how to process a trade-in (~45 minutes). BB opened phone and put in new SIM, but when I got home, I put in my old SIM card and that worked.
  4. A few hours later, I contacted T-Force on Twitter and the associate submitted my unlock request! 😉

UPDATE: 2 days later...11/20 - Phone is officially unlocked! 🥳
Do you have to reset the mobile to see if it's unlocked or just had to restart the mobile?

I am trying to order device on one of my lines, but not getting the text message at all from BB. Tried subscribing to the 332211 and 22891 numbers of BB by sending HELP. But still no luck. Any idea how to resolve this please? Thank you in advance.
Try this from a post above:
"I had the exact same issue. Was extremely frustrating because it worked for a lot other folks here and I know my account ain't that special. So anyways this is what I did: I went to my T-Mobile account and turn OFF every block for "chargeable" things including sms, downloads, etc. The only thing I left on is the scam block. Period. Then is sent a HELP text from each of my no. to 22891, 332211 and 66803. Waited 30 minutes after completing everything above and it worked. T-Mobile and BestBuy rep have zero clue about this. After a lot of troubleshooting and calls to T-Mo reps. I figured it out myself by experimenting."

Still getting the error after entering phone number and SSN saying "We're sorry, there was an issue processing your request. Please try again later." Even went to the store last night and tried all 8 numbers on my (non-business) Magenta account, but no luck.

It's so weird - I know it's connecting to T-mobile's system, cause I get a different error if I enter a random number for my SSN, so there's something wrong in T-mobile's account system. Anyone been able to get past this error? Thread search tells me others are seeing it but I don't see a workaround.

EDIT - Seeing in some reddit forums that the issue might be related to an Insider discount applied to my account (can't remember if that's an employer-related thing or the Hookup discount I got years ago when I signed up for T-mo). Curious to hear from others still getting this error if that's something we all have in common.
I have an employer discount. I've seen on Reddit this may be the cause, though some people with the same program (Magenta Amplified) didn't have an issue. Though it appeared a lot of the ones without an issue were federal government employees, so maybe there's an exception to their version. Might be worth removing the discount and then re-enrolling if you're still eligible.

You don't need to reset or restart your phone. Simply check the unlock status.

Here's how to check your iPhone's unlock status:
  1. Go to Settings > General, and tap About.
  2. Under Carrier Lock, you should see a message that says "No SIM restrictions."
  3. If you don't see that message (e.g. it says "SIM Locked"), your phone hasn't been unlocked yet and you may need to wait a few more days or contact T-Mobile again.
