You're referencing the T-Mobile deal? There is indeed a standard process by which the line level credits are migrated to account level credits so that you can continue to receive them on a monthly basis.

How does the Best Buy/T-mobile deal work if all my local Best Buys show no iPhone 13 minis in stock? Since the deal is store trade-in/pickup only? The only pickup options I get on the checkout page are UPS stores with "no trade-in available" labels. That's not useful since the trade in (iPhone 11 pro) is the whole point. What am I missing? Thanks for any help...

I didn't look for 13 minis, I got a regular 13 (non pro). But the Best Buy online inventory seems pretty accurate. Go and start an online order and you can select nearby stores to check stock based on model and color.

A few other notes after doing the trade in just 2 hours ago:
1) They tried to charge me $10 for a new SIM card, so I just asked them to move my SIM over and they waved the $10
2) The rep didn't have a definite end date for this deal, but said he expected it to run through the holidays
3) They needed me to wipe my old phone before I left the store, but they will give you time with both new and old phones if you want to transfer everything before you leave
I was at the best buy store in city of industry, CA and asked about how much tax they will charge me if I purchase iphone 13 with iphone 11 trade in. was told around $50. they said the trade in value for my iphone 11 will be $340, and there is $200 bestbuy promotion, so the taxable amount would be $800-$340, instead of $800-$540. I originally expected the tax would be less so I just decided not to go for it. Not sure if different store has different policy.

Thanks, I did that and came up blank in all the colors I'd consider. Nada! Guess I'll have to follow Silverball's advice and check several times a day. It'd be great if I could complete the online order and be notified when the stock replenishes -- I don't mind waiting, I just want to get the trade-in value before the promo ends.

i did trade in a couple of hours ago in west SanFernando area - Iphone 11 for iphone 13 , Tax is only on 800-540=260. Bestbuy system's initial screen showed a different tax amount ( 800-340) but when they actually moved forward , final screen showed tax on 260. I could have decided then to do tradein or not - just in case if this helps you. It is consistent in CA stores atleast as everyone mentioned.

I tradedin iphone 12 a couple of hours ago in Los angeles area store, manager gave me a $5 bestbuy giftcard for the difference. they have a paper sheet that showed 725 but instore system only was giving 720 towards the end for Iphone 12 trade in.
