Set data to 'No Data' in your account. That's what I did and there's no limit (ymmv). And I haven't been charged for data since March 2020. The only constraint is I can't set up hotspot, but that's asking for too much of a good thing lol.

The same sim did not work for data on 4G phones btw.

I talked to two agents by chat and they were refusing to send out a simcard without IMEI number so I called them instead and it took 30 mins but managed to set up the account.

OK I will try calling again. Earlier today I tried to do that and they were sooooo confused. Literally at some point they said they would "give me boost"...I was like, um, I don't know what is Boost? They transferred me to Boost. Mobile. WTF

Unless there's a contract you shouldn't have to pay to cancel. From another perspective you shouldn't have to pay any fees because this plan doesn't require a contract. You can call them to find out.

3rd time repeated from 2nd time says same thing but with a different email.

Now it says retry in 24hrs so next time I will ENTER MY ATT POSTPAID INFO and see how that goes… so I tried the option w/o being Att customer just to see if it was working or not. So I guess it does not work? I will definitely try again in 24 hrs with Att account.

slept on this. I have a 12min and 12 pro max. any ideas whether it's worth it to wait for xmas deal?

Just spent a half hour on the phone with an agent who said they can do the $20 plan, but that they MUST mail me the sim and it won't get there for 2-3 biz days. He said I can't pick one up in store. Is this correct or should I HUCA?

For the past several yrs which I have been tracking phone deals BF and the week after is the best.
This deal, has gone longer than expected. Typical tech items do not hold value. Better get them while you can. Between those 2 units you mentioned, it's $80 lower already. So happy we turned in the 12s, esp the PM
No one has the crystal ball on Xmas deal unfortunately.

No since on my 4th try I actually used my Att postpaid account but…. It says it exceeded the amount of tries for today and now I have to wait 24hrs before trying again. So tomorrow I will try with my Att post account and see how that goes. Anyways it works with Att sim and if it does not unlock tomorrow I guess I am ok with it?
