FYI, if you get payment error on the last screen:

We're sorry, but we are unable to accept your payment method at this time. Please try another payment method.

Open an incognito (private browsing) window and go through the entire checkout process again, but use a different credit card. It won't work if you simply try to switch cards.

-------------------------------

If your Chase card isn't accepted, call the number on the back of your card and the recordings will prompt you to do a few things and then the hold will be removed. I didn't even need to speak to anyone...easy as pie.

You can also add these Visa cards manually to your Walmart Wallet and use with Walmart Pay at the registers.

These cards cannot be added to Google Pay or Samsung Pay. Virtual Visa most likely cannot be used in person or used with NFC in stores. To work around this, buy the store's gift card on their website and use that in store.

Do fees apply after my Account is established?

Yes. If you do not use your Account for 12 consecutive months, we will charge a Monthly Maintenance Fee of $4.95 on the first day of each month that follows (starting with month 13) until you use the Account again. At that point, we will wait until 12 more consecutive months of inactivity occur before charging the fee again. If you don't use your Account for an extended period of time, these fees may lower or even exhaust the balance of your Account before the "valid thru" date has passed. You may avoid this fee by making regular purchases with your Account.

There is also a Replacement Account Fee of $5 to replace a lost or stolen Account, so please safeguard your Account information. This fee does not apply to replacement of an expired Account.

yes but there would be a fee involved, usually 3% I believe, you would use something like square

I tried to transfer via PayPal (XOOM) and Venmo and both were declined. I believe the transaction type on the card has to be classified as a "purchase".

if you are fine with final purchase, yes. its just a regular visa card. Just one hassle its a batch of $250 transactions

Infinite money glitch?
Nope, have been unable to buy any beyond the first batch of three. Tried four different cards, all orders got cancelled.

They are probably checking the address on the card, if that is the case.

Quote from ieee488 :
$250 x 10% = $25
$25 - $6 fee = $19
$19 ÷ $250 = 7.6%

If you buy with a 2% credit card like Citi Double Cash,
it is $225 x 2% = $4.50
$19 + $4.50 = $23.50
$23.50 ÷ $250 = 9.4%

If you don't like earning 9.4% on your money, then it is your loss.
I would argue that 2% cashback shouldn't be counted, since you gonna get that 2% anyway. The 7.6% is the real gain of this deal, not 9.4%.

Just ordered one, hopefully it's not cancelled.
How long does it take for cancellation? Is it instant?

Have you done this before? I read that Citi codes Visa gift cards as a cash advance. Can anyone who has purchased these in the past with a Citi card chime in?
Bought with Citi Double Cash paid $230.95 each.
No interest.

That's fine.
7.6% if someone (jlewand3) had bothered doing the math.

I had the same error. Looks like the issue is with PayPal key - I deleted mine and tried to re-add and now PayPal won't me, saying it's coming soon.
That happened to me. I called Paypal to get a new Key but they said I now have to wait for an invitation. Do what? I talked to the Paypal Key dept and they said I just have to wait.

Let me know if you are able to get a new one.
