Just to be clear, I think many folks posting here are incorrect.

The "normal" almost always "sale" is $80 off the tires and $40 off install (IF YOU ARE A PLUS MEMBER).

This is the same $80 off the tires but free install to EVERY member.

It actually is a deal--esp if you aren't a PLUS member.

This is not true. Tires can be purchased deflated. If you choose to have them installed then they will be inflated.

They run this sale almost all the time. Seems like all the time. Pretty much always except for very short time that they don't. It's most of the time.

Did an online chat with customer service and they said no problem with getting the promotional price on special order tires--If I have any problem I have the email reply to show the local club.

Automatic how? In my case, email shows $80 less and no installation charges but if you look at the order details in app or web it does not show any of that. As CC has not been charged yet and will only be charged when order is here meaning 4 days later i.e. after promotion end date - don't be too sure. email is the only proof. I have seen them make a mess too many times - a simple return if the price changes requires manager sometimes! I just keep sams club because i am able to find the membership free. Sams club is a mess.

I ordered 4 Michelin CROSSCLIMATE2 - nothing in town by me could come close to the Sam's price. They are backordered but as others have said online chat assures me they will honor the sales price when the installation occurs and I pay. (which will be AFTER the sales has expired). Makes sense as their on hand stock seemed rather low.

Too bad they can't show the price to non-members. At America's Tires it's:

$147 for PIRELLI CINTURATO P7 ALL SEASON PLUS II, 215/55R17
$144 for PIRELLI P4 FOURSEASONS PLUS, 215/55R17

This deal was probably better. I haven't tried too hard to get a membership before, because the closest one is 30 miles away.
