I'd choose costco 10 out of 10 over this for easy free returns price match and much better warranty. CPS is a nightmare to deal with.
I called my Costco yesterday and the guy I spoke with said to wait until 11/1 on the CI 77". It's dropping another $100. So you may be able to get a price adjustment.

Ok. So they wife got a stupid deal at Sam's for me. The Lg OLED BX 65" new in box $800 and a $50 Gift Card. Is it worth me even going to a 77" . With this kinda of deal on the 65". And do you think the BX will also blow away our 8 year old Panny Plasma. I also have the VT
I don't know about the BX. I got the CX from Costco. I'd come out in a limp and say they're very similar. For $800, it does not hurt to just take it and see for yourself. If you don't like it, just return.
My wife also was very skeptical with OLED. After I got the 65 C1 and watched some movies, she was very impressed and DEMANDED the 77" to replace our plasma, haha.
Bc it's QLED vs OLED and OLED is superior picture - check out RTINGS.com
I've owned both and I can attest to the OLED being far superior to the QLED. Samsung quality issues were prevalent in two screens, one being an upgrade to an 8K model they provided after a screen replacement had more defects than the one it was replacing. They ultimately refunded my money because there were too many issues.
Ordered the c1 77 from Costco on Nov 2nd and got the $100 streaming credit. Though the lg HBS-FN6 earbuds promotion expired on 10/31 i still submitted the invoice in their portal and received an approval. They arrived yesterdayโฆYMMV but worth giving it a shot.
Just like most of the people in the market I am confused about OLED and QLED.
I have only owned Samsung TV in the past and have zero issues - either in terms of TV quality or using the features in the TV. So I am pretty biased towards Samsung. I tried LG smart TV interface and remote at my friends place and the experience was really bad.
Yesterday I went to Costco to try out QN90 (75) and top of the line LG OLED (77). LG OLED was a clear winner in terms of picture quality.
Samsung TV deliberately showed all the videos which had almost no dark colors while LG TV was playing most of the videos where half of the real estate was dark black.
I don't play video games at all and will be using the TV for watching movies and TV. I won't call my living room as super bright space.
What do you recommend?
QLED is just another variation of the LCD/LED panel, all transmit light from a light source. OLED is a complete different technology, where each pixel emits its own light, which in turn gives you true black, much better contrast and image quality.

Basically, if you don't plan to keep this TV in a brighter room, OLD wins almost all the dept. Although I am quite impressed with Samsung's smart AI-based speaker selection based on content.
This isn't a bad deal but I went the Costco route, I just don't have that much faith in BuyDig and wanted to ensure if a better price came out in a few weeks I could get that difference. Used my Costco citi card so I at least save a few bucks.
Why is the Costco deal better? It doesn't even include the gift card or cover burn in damage
With the newer OLED's, unless you're careless or watch/play the same content, you won't see burn-in before any extended burn-in warranty expires. So while the Costco warranty obviously doesn't cover burn-in, it'll cover pretty much everything else. Ease of exchange/return is something to look at too, in case you get a dud/change your mind

I got my 77" C1 from Costco Online on October 23rd for $2999 and received $100 back after price adjustment โบ๏ธ Love Costco

I went Buydig's route purely based on accidental damage coverage. I got kids in the household so that made my decision pretty easy. I also used AMEX card which extends warranty by another year.

I honestly forgot that Costco's warranty doesn't have accidental coverage. So that's definitely something for others to consider, and IMO, you made the right decision
