It's the entry level model. There's A1, B1, C1, G1. JIMO... at only $200 more, the C1, for the upgrades you get, is well worth it.

Note it's an A1 without hdmi 2.1
From reading the side by side comparison to the C1, here are the trade offs for the A1:

3 HDMI ports instead of 4, no hdmi 2.1, not as good maximum brightness, no black frame insertion for motion smoothing, and slightly worse at handling reflections.

This is like buying a Mercedes with cloth seats and a cassette player.

And that was indeed the reason you and I bought oled despite the premium. It was simply the best AT THAT TIME. But mini and micro led of this year is much more impressive at black level than they have ever been, which is also the reason why lg is dropping oled price quite heavily.
There are lcd tv today with 2 million local dimming zones. While it is not pixel level like oled, but I take that and 1500 nit and no burn in over oled.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards qn9 or the u9g as I can't bear there anxiety of oled burn-in.

as someone who uses OLED TV: while the OLED has come down the price a lot since i bought mine, mini LED like QN90A with 800 local dimming zones does come VERY close to the black level, and their brightness is about few times higher than OLED without the annoy ABL (Automatic Brightness Limiter) that you will experience ALL the time in real content consumption.
the only problem with mini LED TV (good ones anyways), is the off center view angle. but if that's not a issue for you, then i'd skip OLED.
Recently upgraded my 65" C7 to 85" QN90A. It was a huge mistake, sports are unwatchable on QN90A due to dirty screen effect.

I'm going to return QN90A and get C1 instead.

That's a serious nerf on 120hz and HDMI 2.1, this may only for work monitor replacement or pure movie lovers. if you want to get more fast gaming with 120hz, better with C1 or even CX

That is too much loss for 200 difference...I guess C1 clear winner for 48 inch.

It doesn't need it because it doesn't do 120hz. Which is a big warning sign!

all you had to do was look up the qn90a to know that it isnt the best for sports (DSE) can be an issue on a lot of the panels. Sony has better quality control for those issues

do not use an oled as your main work monitor. You will most likely get burn in and come crying to the forums. Just check linus video on youtube....

They've come a long way though with anti-burn in features and the risk is very very small. Rtings i believe tested over 10k hours on a static image with the CX and zero burn in

Not really their TVs got burn in especially for sports and news channels with static logos even when using the pixel refresher and shift and logo luminance check their sites

I mean yeah it might not happen the first few months but if you're hoping to use it for more than a year or two I would say you're risking it
