Instead of using the official youtube app which has ads, you sideload aka install the SmartTubeNext apk file via USB or one of those online installers. That app blocks all youtube ads and has sponserblock (you know those ad segments in a youtube video). You can use that SmartTubeNext instead of the official youtube app (I personally uninstall the youtube app or have it disabled).
Have this and firestick 4k. Prefer this one. More fluid and Google play store plus built in Chromecast. Latest firmware update fixed little bugs here and there
Not bad, $15 and sideload/install SmartTubeNext apk and you got Ad-Free Youtube w/ sponserblock

Let us know if you're able to price adjust. Most Walmart stores don't adjust for clearance price that was originally purchased at another Walmart.
I really hope this policy changed.
Will report back. Nothing on box or receipt indicates clearance so I'm hopeful, but even if they don't $15 is a good enough deal to keep (assuming they perform ok ofc)

What part of the electronics department is it located in?

I found mine at a neighborhood wm in the electronics dept in the section for streaming dongles/boxes. Unlike larger wm's, they didn't have all the streaming things in a locked case- these were just out on a shelf inside individual security boxes.
Also, at a full-size wm I checked, the electronics guy said these were normally kept in their locked display but he remembered someone taking them all out to put on the clearance aisle. I didn't find any at that store, but still suggest check clearance aisles too

The remote pairs just fine but as soon as you turn off the Shield TV, you have to re-pair the remote. It's a bit annoying...
I never had this issue when I use a Fire TV stick remote...
