If anyone is considering these to supplement workouts/exercise, they're a bad choice. They would be a good snack for active individuals, but people trying to loose weight or use these for their protein value - it's a mistake. They're just jacked up candy bars.

Doesn't losing weight have more to do with calories in/out than ingredients?

Yes. Calorific deficit is key to losing weight. So you could eat these, but make sure the rest of your meals are within healthy ranges.

Calories on these are 390. Snickers bar is 280. King size snickers used to be 430, that's why they've switched to the regular size.

It's true that it's hardly a diet bar. Good for full on athletes who need that protein load and total calories, but not for everyone.

These are awesome for meal replacement or when I need a big snack on a high-caloric-need day. No artificial sweeteners, and decent balance of macros. I love these for the office and while traveling.

You could get alot more mileage out of 390 calories than 30grms of protein and 27 grams of sugar alcohols. ON Whey shakes are about 120 calories for 24gms of protein...a banana has about 105 calories, and a serving of almonds has about 163 calories. Way better use of your calories than this garbage psuedo-food bar.
