Makita is generally good but i think this is their lower tier set if that doesn't bother you.

IIRC their higher to lower tier sets are XPS>Gold>ImpactX

Someone feel free to correct me.

Looked at these in store— there are 100 pieces but ~75 are just standard bits that require the adapter.

I've had this set for a few years. Haven't found myself using the small bits with the adapter, but it's nice to have them just in case. I use the longer bits all the time though.

Ryobi kit has a better selection if you don't have anything. If you're just looking for impact rated bits, I'd go with the Makita since it has more.

I love Makita stuff but would not buy this, lots of better kits on sale this month from Milwaukee and Makita. Ones with longer bits, socket adapters, higher strength etc.
