$219 in Minnesota. Pretty good deal even at that price. 25+ in stock if anyone local to MN is looking for one.

You need to give more details than i3.....is it a 9th gen or 10th gen? For example 9100f or 10100f

If it has the same generation socket then yes you should be able to..

Damnnnnn..... I guess I'm going to MC tomorrow morning.

*EDIT* shit.... I'm in Minnesota. $220 here. Well, I didn't want to build a new PC until I can get a 3080 anyways. Le sigh.

Any idea how much that 3080 is running right now and what's the i"deal" price if you were to get it now? Asking cuz I just recently bought 5800x and x570 mobo, so still hunting for parts to complete a new build. I know BF, CM, and also Xmas is coming, so I'm expecting some deals to be had on PC parts. Your input is appreciated.

You need to set Microcenter to the Tustin location to get the $150 price. BestBuy usually won't match this (I tried several times) unless you get really lucky. Even if you live in the area it's an in-store price and 1 per household which are basically their loss leader prices.

If you can get a price match this is an awesome deal but you may end up wasting a lot of time dealing with CS and getting nowhere.
Its luck most of the time. I tried with no luck. Cashier said price diff is too large the system wont allow the adjustment, Manager comes says the same thing, then offers it to me for 300.

Should I return the 3800X I paid $100 more for and get this instead? I still need a new motherboard and everything anyway. Looks like it runs cooler with a lower TDP also.

Price dropped to $219.99 at other MC locations other than CA.
..and I thought it was a deal when I bought a i7-10700 for that price a month or so ago. At least the 10700 comes with a heatsink. I don't overclock so no biggie. Past the return period so I couldn't take advantage if it was $149 at my local store.

anyone able to pick one up at Tustin and ship to east coast?
If it's really worth it to pay for the shipping and packaging, DM me. I'll see if there are still some available.

Thanks for your kind response. And dang! that alone costs more than the rest of the system parts combined. LOL.
