A way around that is to buy a weekly timer….one that lists every day of the week and has the pins that you put up or down to tell it when to be on. Set it for like 8 hours on Wed or Thurs ( if you're most likely to need them over the weekend). Then every Wed or Thursday they will be charged for the 8 hours and automatically be turned off and thus remaining charged while avoiding overcharging.

I've owned a mower, trimmer, blower, for about 6 years now, I did have to get new batteries after about the 4th year, I just waited until they had deals, my experience has been good
Yes it is. I just picked up the last 16" display model last week, but I absolutely would have gone for this deal. Just make sure you can replace the trimmer head! Kobalt trimmer parts are impossible to locate. I believe people had success (check youtube) using aftermarket ones though, husqvarna t25 comes to mind. https://youtu.be/FA5pAFngGOM

Yes but these sold out in most stores months ago. Many stores are no longer stocking the 40v line and have gone online only for 40v.

Remember reading that their batteries CAN be overcharged which is not good for them and causes premature failure. They should not just be left in the charger indefinitely. Unfortunately, with my memory I would periodically forget that I had them in the charger.

I have quite a few of the 40v brushless tools and all have been exactly what I needed. At some point all batteries will need to be replaced but if you can grab stuff on clearance, keep the batteries and sell off unwanted tools and chargers you can basically supply yourself with cheap/free batteries.
In certain stores yes.
I got one and had it for 3 years and still working fine, beats the hell out of gas by far
