Took 3 tries but finally got a price match, I feel bad but 🤷🏻 ♂️

What finally worked was I made I sure I didn't have the item in my cart (when I did the reps saw it was the digital version in my cart and not physical). I asked if they price match the game, sent walmart link, they said yes. Told me to purchase and they'll adjust, so once I got that okay I carted the digital and purchased it . Gave the order number and got it. Finally after god knows how many years. I used to rent this game all the time when GameFly would give $1 trials

I want this but I have it for the Wii U so can never get myself to pull the trigger. Also don't want to pay $35/yr for Nintendo Online and think this game won't be fun without online play. Maybe I'll break down eventually.

Ha, I'm in the same boat as you. Don't feel like buying the same game twice. Wish they came out with MK9 so I can justify buying it.

But Nintendo has not mentioned MK9 in the near future. Given that statement, it is unreasonable to keep waiting IF there's a itch to play on the Switch portably. Delay gratification doesn't always work.

But hey, you have the WiiU so you will do just fine.

We don't play it much these days. Though hard to triage if that's because it's on the Wii U or because the kids are just into other stuff. We have both consoles on the same TV with auto source switching, so it's as simple as turning on the Wii U or the switch, and of course being in front of the TV Smilie

For those trying to price match for digital, I had to use the Walmart link someone posted in here. My Best Buy attempt was denied but Walmart worked, maybe because it's a little more vague.
