Good find! The 700's are much better.
- Better EQ - better sound quality
- Better noise cancellation (some say it's close, others say it's noticeable - maybe negligible)
- 24 hours (vs 20 hour) battery life
- Bluetooth 5.1 (vs Bluetooth 4.1)
- Mostly metal construction (hinges) vs plastic QC35
- USB-C vs Micro-USB
- Nearly the same weight - 8.5 ounces (vs 8.2 ounces)
- Comfort is as good or better (according to reviews)
- Better microphones for phone calls
- Better "ambient" mode to listen to music without complete noise cancellation
Are these features worth $100 more than the QC35II recent sale prices ($180) - I'd say so.
I preordered these and returned them as soon as I got them and I've had the QC 35's for years.
QC 45 Improvements over QC 35
- Better EQ - better sound quality This is pretty arguable and can be pretty subjective. Better EQ does not equal better sound quality.

- 24 hours (vs 20 hour) battery life
- Bluetooth 5.1 (vs Bluetooth 4.1)
- Mostly metal construction (hinges) vs plastic QC35 Majority of the QC45 is still plastic and can feel cheap.
- USB-C vs Micro-USB this is probably my favorite upgrade....
- Nearly the same weight - 8.5 ounces (vs 8.2 ounces)
- Comfort is as good or better (according to reviews) negligible difference in comfort for me
- Better microphones for phone calls This is true! but I rarely used the headsets for calls.
- Better "ambient" mode to listen to music without complete noise cancellation

it wont connect to your pc for sure windows 10, the only way i made it by using a stupid $70 bose bluetooth adapter to my pc.
but once it gets connected it was nice and peaceful for calls, but people were only able hear me properly when i switch to quiet mode ,in comfort mode i need to shout or speak loud.
i connected to two different devices my pc and my iphone,it was switching fast between devices, but when i am still on my teams call if i get any call on my phone its switching to my iphone, this is something useless i felt
i forgot to mention the main reason to go with bose was for noise canceling due to infant cry in my home , i heard bose had best noise canceling, i even tried microsoft surface 2 headphones and returned it back, they are too heavy and bulky, saw good reviews on jabra but i dont think their earpads will be comfy for me.
but if you are looking to connect to your pc you definitely need a bose bluetooth adapter for smooth connect.
i use airpods pro for my phone, but i bet 100% that bose is not as fast as airpods in connecting to your iphone, most of the time i need to manually connect to my iphone by going to bluetooth settings, don't expect a fast connection like airpods to iphone.
plug headphones into computer via USB, itll find driver to install, and install it. then unplug and pair via BT.
EDIT: I went for it... got another 30 off for being a medical provider so final will be 219!

I was using QC35 for many years and really like them. They are one the the very few NC headphones that allowed source switching - must have feature for me because I constantly connected to a phone and at least one other device. I've returned 700 because they were lacking this feature.
Noise cancellation on QC45 felt slightly better, they fit slightly more comfortably. And of course USB-C charger - let me be frank - I got them because of this feature. Being able to travel with only one cable is a deal-breaker for me!
