I bought the refurbished version of this at Walmart for $400 and tax. 1st time came with a dent in the back and 10 month warranty. I returned and got another one. Came in perfect condition..like brand new with almost 11 months warranty.
It's oos but got restock from time to time.

In my experience, in the world of streaming, yes. If you find yourself away from wifi for a long period of time you can still fit quite a few movies/shows on the device. For camping we put 6-7 movies on the device with plenty of room to spare.

Also, just a note that Chase Freedom has Wal-Mart & PayPal @ 5% back this quarter.

Costco is always more expensive than sale prices elsewhere.
Costco is typically cheaper than regular prices but Costco also bundles a bunch of stuff they cant sell or you dont need.

The apple edu pricing was cheaper and came with free air-pod a few months ago.

Not sure why they call it refurbished, those are clearly customer returns, hence the 10-11 month remaining warranty.
