I purchased the dutch oven copper core! I've been waiting for it to go on sale here for over a year. Thank you.

For those who are unfamiliar with this website, it's identical all-clad pots and pans as sold in store but at a much cheaper price. This will be my third purchase on this website. My first two (a 12 inch fry pan and a 4-qt pot) were in excellent condition with no imperfections anywhere. I couldn't figure out what made them packaging damage / second-quality.

Haha, I have to point out the obvious flaws here. You pointed out the company was started in 1971, and these will last 100 years. So, how do you know that lol? If they do outlive us, that's great

All-Clad is the very best. It really will last practically forever. It's heavy, holds the heat well, and is just very well made.

You can buy a cheap one and be just fine. If you only use it occasionally, you're probably better off with an inexpensive one. But if it's something you use a lot and want to splurge, it's money well spent and a very good deal.

This or a ceramic frying pan?
We went from ceramic to these. These are MUCH heavier, require a little more cleaning technique / immediate drying if you care about water spotting (doesn't hurt anything). Ceramic finish will wear down but are easier (unless buying non-stick here) for frying eggs and such. These are expensive but clearly high quality when you get them. I had good experience with this company, but our shipping was a little slow (probably 2-weeks from order to delivery).

Chinese knock-off fakes?

Don't know, but some are missing the All Clad engraving that with purchase, is agreed to be accepted as normal with all sales final (no returns for any reason).

Meanwhile, they sure have a lot of reject (2nds) sales.

When purchasing here do you receive the lifetime warranty?

Read the landing page.... you are on your own with no returns for any reason. Like many, a huge part of the retail price is to service the warranty.

PS: Personally, I buy everything from a local restaurant supply house that often has sales. Good enough for the real chefs, good enough for me.

Or my favorite, Lodge cast iron. If she cannot cook, the weight of Lodge will build up her muscles. Smilie .... and I know they will last a 100 years.

Are they dishwasher safe or they become dark in the dishwasher? having baby don't have time to wash by hands Smilie)
These are NOT for you...if you plan on being lazy.

With that said.
26+ years with All Clads and our "baby" is now 23.
None ever needed to go in the dishwasher!

Cooked her first meal on them, continued using them 3-5 times a week.

So for the 12 inch pan with lid, it's currently only a 20 dollar savings?
https://www.all-clad.com/d3-stain...-inch.html

Don't have any all clad yet
IF you are starting a collection, I would recommend just getting a 7/10 piece set.
Or ordering them from a better place...Like Macy's

Example 12inch pan at macy's $104 [macys.com] with cash back sites, you come out ahead and are guaranteed perfect quality.

If money is no object and you really enjoy cooking:
D5 10 piece set $720 [macys.com]

Otherwise
D3 7 piece set $399 [macys.com] This one does go a little lower in price.

D3 10 Piece set [macys.com] out of stock ($490 when on sale)

I take it you're not familiar with All-Clad. Yes, these will easily last 100 years. The brand has been around since 1971 and people have absolutely been handing down those decades-old pieces to their descendents.
100 years? That's awesome, twice that of my Galactic Prophylactic my pop handed down to me.

If you really like to cook the copper core is the way to go. They are very heavy duty and maintain temperatures better than anything else I've heard of. I wait for this sale to pop up every couple of months and usually buy 1-2 pieces at a time. After buying the dutch oven today, I'm pretty sure I have at least 1 of every piece. I doubled up on almost all of the pans except the Teflon one

Same.
There's a 14" copper core one there for $200.

That said, I would hate to try and wok cook in a 5 LBcopper core wok.

Look for a carbon steel.

Been waiting for this deal to come! Picked up my first All-Clad ..3qt Sauce and Suate Pan from the D5 brushed series.

Any thoughts on their non-stick pans of which we don't use all that often?

I have a lot of all clad and it all goes in the dishwasher. The only ones I wouldn't are the copper line but I intentionally don't buy those. What's your logic for not dishwashing?
