This might be really cool if you can put a lot of touch-screen buttons on it to control all your crap.

But I think I want to wait for a deal on it and maybe some reviews.

The bundle deals make it more tempting though.

honestly these should be at least 24" and I think 32" would be the best....the screen is still too small really for viewing, but too big for easy placement....just a really weird choice IMO

I've got a couple of Echo Show 8s in my home, including one on my desk that I intended to use for calendar, to-dos, etc. They aren't very customizable, sadly, and they insist on showing me advertisements for Amazon bullshit every time it does an over the air update.

I have Echo Dots connected to stereos in various rooms, and an Echo Studio in my bedroom, but I think I'm done with this ecosystem and will begin shopping for a replacement. The Shows have soured my view of Alexa / Echo.

I just paid $299 for a 15.6" Intel 11th Gen laptop. Sure it's apples to oranges, but $250?

the website does show 25% off with trade in

trade in seems to include my echo dot, which would make this more palatable
I do wish these things were more customizable, however. The Google version isn't much better as far as customization.

Just ordered one with trade-in and got 25% off. I took my Echo to uBreakiFix in Flower Mound to get the 25% off and credit right away.

I think the 25% discount only works on the 'Device Only' option.

When I've done trade-ins in the past, they usually give me the credit and coupon instantly. Doesn't seem to now. Anyone able to still get an instant coupon?

EDIT: Trade in system is funky. It first quoted me $60 for an Echo Show 10". Then after playing around with some other trade-ins, it's now showing me $70.

I also traded an Echo Show 5 and I got GC, but there is nothing about 25% off. I checked with customer service, but they did not find 25% discount. Any suggestion?

Check if they want to send the item back before giving the coupon. This happens to most of these deals, where Amazon wants to ship trade-in item and value it, before the discount coupon. you see message like below while trade-in

Amazon.com Gift Card:
+ 25% off a new qualifying Echo device(applied after we receive and appraise your trade-in)

You have to purchase any Echo product. The 25% discount will show up at check out
