You have 30 days (from purchase?) to activate your SIM and port your phone number to Visible Wireless.
After activation, join a PartyPay group to lower your monthly service payment.
Please note that it is possible to join *any* PartyPay group, but to receive service for $25 per month, there must be a minimum of 4 members in the party. Here's Reddit: VisiblePartyPay [reddit.com].
The cellphone is locked to Visible for 60 days, and will be automatically unlocked (FCC granted a limited waiver on June 25, 2019 [fcc.gov] to "allow Verizon to better combat identity theft and other forms of handset-related fraud." Prior to this limited waiver, Verizon was required to sell unlocked cellphones as part of the 2008 Upper 700 MHz C Block license).
After you prepay for your 3rd month of service, check your e-mail for the redemption codes for the virtual gift card, and for the earphones.
The redemption codes will expire after 30 days!
Apple Watch (with cellular) can be added for $5 per month (shares phone number).

Target is offering 15 dollars gift card when you buy 100$ apple gift card.. so buy 1000 dollars gift card and if you do that with red card additional 50 dollars saved. I did this last year to buy macbook air..
SO total you will save as follows
1000 Gift card (apple) + 150 (target card) for = $1000 or 950$ when using redcard. and then buy airpods pro from that 150 dollars.
if you go through visible just for sake of it you will have to pay 75$ for three months to get 100 dollars gift card.. and hassle of unlocked phone.. my opinion.

With the Target deal you are $50 + $150 = $200 if you use Red Card.
Plus Visible charges $19 less for the phone than Apple does.
I don't see how Target is a better deal.

They removed the sim lock exactly after 6o days, received a $200 gift card (chose AGC), and today they delivered the new AirPods Pro, which is nice.

I was really concerned after Visible's snafu:
My third payment was due on the 4th, but Visible's servers were slightly overloaded.
Thankfully, auto-pay did function on my account although I didn't receive the "thanks for your payment".
Other's weren't as fortunate.
I received e-mails with redemption codes on the first day of the new period, and confirmed phone is no longer network locked.
If it's not in spam folder, log into your account and confirm the Air Pods Pro and $200 choose your own card promotions are still listed (I see them at the bottom of my dashboard when I log into Visible's web site).

Parcel Select with tracking. Coming from Parcel Partners in Waukesha, WI. Today was a week since USPS accepted it. Still waiting for delivery. It's reached a local distribution center to me today, so hopefully tomorrow
The $200 choose your own gift card took about 9 hours to process.
I chose the Mastercard, and it expires in Aug 2022 (terms do not allow it to be used for recurring service, such as Visible auto-pay). Note: I had to use the same physical and e-mail address. I could not add +VisibleMastercard to my e-mail address, otherwise, an error message appears about not being able to process at this time, please try again later.
Make sure you check the spam folder for the redemption codes.
When I logged into the web page, the redemption codes were also shown in the offers.
Yeah I got it the next day. One with MagSafe case
redeemed both and both showing pending.
