They have these at kohls for $59.99 and you can use up your crappy kohls cash on it. You will have to get to $75 for free shipping. So you will have to add $15.01 filler.
The big red silicone fork is good. The Food Network 10" cast iron skillet is actually my favorite cast iron pan to sear steaks, and I have about 40 cast iron pans.
Bonus for super cheap people: if one of your filler items is carried by the kohls store near you, you can select it for pick up (instead of delivery) and you will be emailed $5 kohls cash for picking it up, even if you used all kohls cash to buy it. (make sure you clip that coupon)
Try checking out on your mobile phone and look for the coupon for free shipping (if using mobile)
If you have that you don't need filler.
If you are suppper cheap, you can go to your local kohls store (even in the middle of the night when they are closed) and order from the app. It will say free shipping to your home awhile in store. In that case you only have to buy the $59.99 show 8 with no filler.
also, again. If you order from your home using your mobile phone and the kohls app you might have the coupon for free shipping on any order.
The home $10 off $50 does not work on the show 8, that coupon is only for items in the home catagory.
The 15% off coupon will not work on the show 8. It is a 'premium' item. But you can use your kohls cash.
The 15% will work on other filler (if not premium).
There computer uses the kohls cash towards purchase, then whatever is left you owe the 15% takes off only that remaining part (given non of them are premium brands, then nothing is taken off).

They make great bedside clocks once you learn the command "Alexa, turn off the screen." One cool think is that you can pair them together in a speaker group and make them play rain sounds in an equal volume.
I have a routine setup to turn on all the lights, read the weather and play the news when the first alarm goes off. Works great for getting me off my rear.
The only think that bugs me about the shows is that they are increasing advertising their own Prime crap on their more and more often. That's now what I bought if fot.

Difference is the gen 2 has a 13 mp camera vs 1 mp (what you said), and has some kinda new zoom feature and tracks you around the room. It's for people who make lots of video calling.
Gen 2 also has a much faster 8-core processor, vs gen 1's 4-core. Gen 2 has the same processor as the latest show 10! I think all this is needed for the video call aspect. If you don't video call I am thinking you don't need gen 2.
Also, gen 1 has a 1/8" audio output. It has been removed on gen 2.
