I watched Gamer Nexus's evaluation over this case and get impressed by its overall performance. It is much better than solid panel version and does not usually on sale unlike the solid one.

Finished a build in this case. Would recommend, however the steels are a bit on the thinner side (compared to a Meshify 2 Compact i also recently built) so it can bend if you put moderate force behide it. Besides that it's actually really great case.

I actually own an NZXT H510i and a Corsair 4000D. For looks, I think the NZXT looks a little better, but the Corsair is orders of magnitude better for cooling, has more room for additional fans, larger radiators, etc. Build quality-wise I'd say that they're pretty equal.

My only knock on the Corsair case is that if you get the black version of the 4000D it comes with a dark tinted glass side panel, and there is no option for a clear glass side panel for it. If you get the white model it comes with a clear glass side panel, with no option for the tinted glass. And because they have metal trim around the edge of the glass panel that matches the case, you can't just swap one for the other.

My Amazon order got cancelled for the white airflow. Debating on rebuying through Corsair or Newegg. Any recommendations? I'm also considering the 4000x RGB case since I can pick that up locally at best buy for $115. Not sure I'm really into the RGB thing or not though since it just sits in a desk space so will likely stick with the airflow 4000D.

I did the same thing just a moment ago. I also opted to not do the RGB case because I can add that to the airflow case. I picked up thistriple pack for $40 [amazon.com] making it about the same price as the RGB case and if I don't like it I can just return the fans. Not sure if black fans with a white case will be problematic but since the case comes with two black fans I figured it would be ok.
