i have the ninja foodi one that i got last year, and i can tell you it doesnt (at least for the ninja). Its so damn convenient to do both trays at different temps and at different times, meals come out hot and ready to the plate, rather then having to wait for one to finish and then another or meddling with two different products in one tray so one doesnt burn over the other.

As an avid air fryer, 2 small baskets instead of one large is not better for most people.

Very situational.

You are much better off with a bigger box.

The description on Targets page says it's "Two 5-qt baskets for XL 10 qt capacity". The pictures also show two baskets. I'm assuming maybe there's a different or updated version like you're describing.
