There's comments like this in every MacBook Air M1 thread, but have no clue what they're talking about. Look into how this thing actually performs instead of thinking it's the same as the Intel chipsets with 8gb of ram.

I've read that most cases for this do not fit properly or crack easily. Stick with decals and sleeve? This is for my daughter who will be going to college in the fall. Also, do you recommend a mouse or is the trackpad sufficient?

Have had this for a few months and it is great. Feels quick enough for most daily tasks. This is a great deal. Also look for Best Buy open box for even lower prices.

My intel laptops and pcs are 5 and 9 years old. They are fully upgradable and work better than any mac or cheapo laptops/pcs... you just have to know what you are buying...

I haven't seen it pointed out much but compared to other stores that might pricematch Costco, make sure to check if they'll pricematch the Apple Care + as well if you plan on getting that too. For this item it's usually 199.99 ( like at best buy) compared to the 159.99 it is at Costco with this MBA.

Waited for BF. Apparently this is it lol. Not a terrible deal since you get the Costco warranty. Was hoping for a 750 price tag this year.

This might get some hate, but I like bigger screens and I only use my laptop at my desk. But I was thinking of hooking this up to a monitor and using as a desktop basically. Thoughts on this? I haven't found anything desktop wise with this performance at this price range.
