I bought this ram kit for $95 during the sale at Newegg a few weeks ago. I installed it in a Ryzen laptop (Dell G5) and it immediately recognized the RAM as dual-channel, 3200 MT/s, and with the expected and advertised timings (22-22-22-52) with a 1.2V voltage. Considering some of the previous posters' questions about secondary timings, rank, and device width, I post the following data from HWiNFO with the hope that it can help someone for this information was also unknown to me prior to purchase:
Refresh Cycle Time (tRFC):560T Number Of Ranks:1 Number Of Bank Groups:4 Device Width:8 bits Please note that my previous ram was also CL22; however, all G.Skill F4-3200C22D-32GRS timings are either the same or better than the stock ram. I am pleased with this purchase and feel it is a slick deal. |

However, most, if not all, mini-itx desktop motherboards use SODIMMS (this form factor). Additionally, every "mini" or "micro" PC I am aware of use this type of RAM. Think Intel NUC, Gigabyte BRIX, Asrock DeskMini, Lenovo Mxx Tiny series, etc. Not traditional "desktops" per se, but definitely not laptops...

As long as Amazon ships it, you get the 'no hassle' return included. Match that against the greedy NewEgg restocking fees. I've ordered thousands of dollars of stuff from Newegg, and they sent me crap memory and charged me over 30 bucks to take it back. To hell with newegg.

The main thing you want to look for whether it's 1Rx8 or 1Rx16 (x8 being the preferable number as it has a higher bandwidth) and that unfortunately, I haven't found much info on.
Edit: Looking at some photos on Amazon/Newegg, I see there are chips on only 1 side of the module which says to me that the ram is 1Rx16, but I could be wrong.
It runs 22-22-22-52 cl22 standard jdec or whatever something close to that
Ge76 auto ran 3200

I bought a single 16gb stick for my wife's AMD laptop which came with 8gb on-board, and it has been working rock solid.
