The MSI B450 Tomahawk (not Max, not Max 2) was available on Woot for $50 briefly. But that was an incredibly hard to grab one-off.
The MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max was $89.99 on Amazon[amazon.com] just yesterday but sold out for 1st party. This board has an addition M.2 slot, an addition PCI express x16 slot, 2 more SATA slots, 1 more M.2 slot, and SPDIF optical digital audio. But no USB-C, and no flash bios button on the I/O panel.
Best Buy has the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max (not Max 2; only difference may be the the Realtek ALC892 vs ALC897) for $89.99 as well. Link[bestbuy.com]
The benefit of shopping at Best Buy is if you have a 10% (up to $25 off 250) Best Buy Chase Offer, it'll be cheaper.
Amazon has the MSI B450 Tomahawk Max 2 for $89.99 as well. Link[amazon.com]. The advantage here is if you have gift cards to spare (e.g. if you have an Amex Offer for 50 off 250 Lowes, which sells Amazon gift cards. Or if you have the $9 off $60 Amazon 4-star Chase Offer, where you can buy some gift cards).

Thnx +1
I remember when Fry's still had Intel combos, you would get a proc and a mono for the same price everyone else sold the procs along. Prices so low that they got sued!
Z490 and 590 boards really need to be coming down. I'm looking for one myself. I can't see paying anything over 180 for a z590. The extra money can be spent other place like a gpu. When the prices come back down to earth.

I was hoping to find a marked down z490/590 itx mobo but I guess I'll be going with 12th gen if the prices aren't going to move on the old mobos.
Which b550 is worth it? well this doesn't look good, the unify series has bad coil whine from the vrms according to Reddit. maybe that's why they're so cheap here. idk
