This was confusing to me, so a little more explanation for noobs. The 'pay later' option doesnt require applying for credit, instead you enroll an existing cc for them to charge over 4 interest free payments. Just choose 'pay later' when checking out and enroll in 'zip' quad pay... and get $30 off.

Why is that better than having the HDD mailed to you, without having to trade something in?

Let alone having to argue with the BB employees that have no clue what the program is, nor how to provide the coupon??
This guy is mad because another user suggested an alternative deal.

And five people other people for some reason agreed.

WD 14TB drives are CMR. 8TB drives and under were the questionable ones that could be SMR.

What the hell are you talking about?
it's not my deal, and I could care less what other people paid after me.

If you can't understand why $170 shipped to your home is better than $200 in person after arguing for an hour with BB employees, as most BB employees have refused to honor the 15% off recycle coupon. There's literally a massive section in a BB thread about this. Essentially longer than actual normal threads.

Maybe you should go back to kindergarten, so that you can learn math???

Anyone know if you have to tape the 3.3v pin to get these to work as an internal drive in a PC?

The Zip code worked thanks. I wish the CA code was still good, it didn't work for me.

if your PSU is SATA 3.3 compliant, no
otherwise it depends on if the disk is really an UltraStar or Red-equivalent.

" 2.1.7. ACCOUNT FEES. Late Fee. If you have not paid your Total Minimum Payment in full by the applicable Due Date, then we may charge you a late fee of up to $7 (the applicable fees may be limited by statute and vary based on your state of residence, but will not exceed $7 per late payment or three such late fees per Zip Purchase).
Merchant Fees. We also may charge fees to Merchants and Retailers accepting a Zip Service for payment. These fees are paid at your direction for the participation of such Merchants and Retailers in accepting Zip Services for payments."

So.. do they draw the other three payments from u automatically or do WE have to pay it manually on time? I'm not gonna remember to log on and pay.

Update: it's automatic. Probably selling our private info but whatever. I got 4x$90.36 or $360.

Four separate checkouts
For your credit card payment...
My dates are
11/27-->12/10
12/24-->1/7
That's about once every half month.
The credit card cycle is one month, four times means about two monthly payments

Only coupon that is working for me is the quad pay. And unfortunately only 2 HDs are allowed.
just cancelled my orders at BestBuy.
But $200-30 = $170 + tax for 14TB is a great deal.
