This isn't new, but you have to read the comments of other deals to find it - to me, the whole point of Slickdeals is to make crystal clear how to score a really great price.

Take an old storage device you don't care about to Best Buy, use the recycling offer (second link) to get 15% off on the WD SN850 when you pick it up. The SN850 is already on Black Friday offer for $150 to that takes the price down to $127.50 plus tax. Folks have been successful turning in old thumbdrives, but you could take in an old broken 2.5 or 3.5 HDD, etc.
This isn't for everyone - it's for those who really need/want a great deal.
Warning, Best Buy's process for this is reportedly really slow, many stores don't seem to know about it and will seek to deflect, to avoid, etc. Take in a copy of the recycling offer or have it ready to show them on your phone, etc. You will need to be persistent and it will be time consuming.
But the prize is a 1TB top-of-the-line NVME SSD for $127.50 (plus tax), which, yes, does work for PS5.

They did not have the WD 1TB M.2 in stock (I knew this already before heading to the store) but was able to recycle, get coupon, and order at store to be shipped and delivered to my house.
For Bestbuy card holders - you will also get a 5 reward coupon for the purchase! I plan to go back today to try for another. This will be my 5th WD SN 850 for $136 after tax.
FYI: Recycle page says ANY STORAGE Device - they accepted an old 128MB USB Flash Drive!

Whereas say what you will about Inland but the Performance drive is warranted for six years, which seems to be one more year than standard. It appears they're willing to stand behind their product.
