Jamo S 83 CEN Center Speaker

The S 809 is Jamo Flagship Dolby Atmos tower speaker.

Each speaker includes a patent-pending connection points atop the cabinet for seamless integration of the S 8 ATM topper to deliver the overhead effect of Dolby Atmos.
The 1" soft dome tweeter provides smooth, refined high frequencies, with three 5" aluminized polyfiber woofers for balanced, cinematic low end.
The integrated WaveGuide focuses the high frequency sound for dynamic, true-to-life reproduction, while the front-firing tube port allows for better low frequency extension with placement flexibility.
Seamless Dolby Atmos Integration
Elegant metal fasteners atop the cabinet provide a chic, modern industrial look, but also serve as a connection point for the S 8 ATM Dolby Atmos elevation speaker.
Front firing tube port improves low frequency extension while maximizing placement options.
Fully magnetic grille for premium look and feel with wood accents that give a handcrafted, natural aesthetic.

About this deal:
This price is $898 lower (69% savings) than the $1297 list price.
This might be a good deal, might not be, but either way you should know this post is an ad made by one of the site admins (check the user's history and note the percentage of "deals" that happen to always be to Adorama.
Slickdeals definitely has a relationship with Adorama. With that said, these deal threads are the only way to get these deals from Adorama. If you go directly to the adorama website and find these sets, the price is much higher.
I don't get the gimmick of the "Walnut" look.. Piano black, flat white..etc... looks more classy.
One, it's not even close of being real walnut and second even real walnut looks like the walls in mobile homes.

This.
I spent more time than I wish trying to figure this out. Was wondering why the damn price was diff for the same item..
Is this a better deal than the Klipsch R-26FA Dolby Atmos Floorstanding Speakers for $500 at Adorama? I've also been considering Klipsch The Fives (Costco), but not sure if I'm sacrificing too much for the convenience of not needing to have a receiver.
I don't know anything about audio, but my wife likes to karaoke and we've been using those 100W portable (wheelable) rockers from Costco (which are better than my $200 soundbar).

Wow.. I'm fairly taken back by this development lol I also was super confused/pissed last time bc i couldn't find that price & concluded I "missed" the darn sale 😂 breaking news: it's an inside job, set up from the beginning🙄(& I'm on SDs everyday lol)

Agreed! Even worse is the black stained wood grain pieces or wood that has a "burnt finish"(haven't seen that in speakers though).

Well I'm going to answer my own question. The s801 is smaller in both form and performance I guess
