Seriously, what did you expect, it was a one day sale and it sold out. It happens. I have missed out on countless deals here by being late to the game. Not a big deal. Get over yourselves and move onto the next deal instead of acting immature by complaining or being butt hurt because they won't bend over backwards for you.
Which is the best of the free phones?
Not only will they be locked to T-Mobile, but don't be surprised by the fact that budget phones like these slice and dice which bands they support based upon the operator which sold them. In other words, this is not the same phone as similarly named model from Verizon, and would have different capacity to support functionality on networks outside of T-Mobile (they're all probably 100% fine enough for AT&T).

Presumably the only reason the LG is on this list is because they've abandoned the Android market. Otherwise, it does not belong in the category of free phone and will surely go out of stock VERY quickly after this deal goes live. The other freebie Samsung phones are somewhere between cruel jokes and OK as a dummy device to run your remote control app.

Good luck!

I don't have any EIP plan in my line now. If I get this one now, will I be able to upgrade my line with any new Samsung or iPhone next year? Pardon me if it was already answered in the thread.

Oh wow! Thanks for letting me know. I know its YMMV but hearing this has helped ease my nerves a bit. I really didn't want to lose the bill credit on my Samsung and be on the hook for a much more expensive phone because I goofed and jumped the gun on a cheapy free phone.
Glad to help, but don't blame me if it turns out differently. LOL. I should note that I have always paid off any existing EIP balance first before signing on for another EIP on a given line. I know others here have not, and still ended up OK. But again, something to consider for your Samsung. You may want to pay it off first, then sit back and still collect the monthly bill credits for it, along with the credits for the Velvet.

I'm trying to get the LG Velvet, but am not seeing any text about monthly bill credits. I'm on a postpaid, non-business plan, and I've done similar deals before. I even made sure to upgrade on a line that is not receiving bill credits from any previous promo. Any idea why I'm not seeing the promo?

Thank you,
Tofu Vic

I didn't see any promo info either. The checkout processes stated it early on but never in the contract
If you saw it some time during the checkout you should be fine. I have a pixel 6 promo but the contract never mentioned that...but this time, I didn't see promo info during the checkout at all...

ABOVE IT CHOOSE UPGRADING Current DEVICE, from a drop down choises.
Clicked on LG phone and there was "upgrade my line"

OK I dunno if I'm screwed. I had an existing eip on one of the line that I added new eip with the LG velvet. I just realized and quickly paid off the old eip on that line. The new eip didn't even show up yet on the 2 lines I added.

Am I screwed?

Just want to confirm that I can call in, pay this phone off, which makes it clear to sell, and I will still receive the monthly bill credits as long as I stay with T-Mo for 2 years?
