Seriously, what did you expect, it was a one day sale and it sold out. It happens. I have missed out on countless deals here by being late to the game. Not a big deal. Get over yourselves and move onto the next deal instead of acting immature by complaining or being butt hurt because they won't bend over backwards for you.
Which is the best of the free phones?
Not only will they be locked to T-Mobile, but don't be surprised by the fact that budget phones like these slice and dice which bands they support based upon the operator which sold them. In other words, this is not the same phone as similarly named model from Verizon, and would have different capacity to support functionality on networks outside of T-Mobile (they're all probably 100% fine enough for AT&T).

Presumably the only reason the LG is on this list is because they've abandoned the Android market. Otherwise, it does not belong in the category of free phone and will surely go out of stock VERY quickly after this deal goes live. The other freebie Samsung phones are somewhere between cruel jokes and OK as a dummy device to run your remote control app.

Good luck!

Any comparisons between the 3? Which is the best?
In term of specification LG Velvet looks better but its a big phone with 6.8" screen.

This is a TERRIBLE idea for anyone who isn't grandfathered into some excellent priced plan. The LG is also the only choice you should consider if you are planning to do this.

If you really want a 'free' phone you may as well switch to Metro by T-Mobile and get one there. Of course you'll need non-tmobile # to get port price. At the very least you can leave whenever you want without needing to pay ETF, because that's exactly what this entails an ETF if you leave TMobile.
I have several lines free from the various promos. Most of them just sit idle waiting for deals like this.

Nice. I got it blindly, but am going to use it as nav/music in my car, so bigger is better. That is freakin huge tho. My first tablet was that size.

If none of those lines have existing EIP and any EIP related bill credits, then seems like you can get five phones.

For a limited time while supplies last, new & existing customers can get the Samsung Galaxy A10e, Galaxy A11, or LG VELVET 5G FREE via 24 monthly bill credits on any rate plan. No trade-in required.

You can still upgrade on that line that has credits already. For my account, it seems like there's no limit since I have 3 credits on one of my line.

But your tablet is a lot wider. The velvet is narrower.

"You are limited to one promotional bill credit at a time per line"

This is a lie. You can have more than one bill credit per line.

Am I missing something? Shouldn't I see something on the checkout page telling me I'll be getting Bill credits? If looks like I'll be getting charged $16 a month, but doesn't say anything about credits.

Just got mine too. LG pulling out of the phone market is MORE of a reason for me to get one for $40. Last of its kind.
LG is pulling out of the phone market??? OMG They are the best and longest lasting phones I've ever had. Currently typing on a LG G7 ThinQ right now and one of my first phones was a LG flip phone that still works to this day!!!

I was able to add two LG Velvet to a single line in two separate transactions. Paid taxes and shipping. I'll get the bill credit to offset the monthly charge. Thank you OP. Will repped!
you wont get EIP credit for two orders on the same line. Online shopping does allows to do that but when the promo $400 is being applied on the backend it wiont work.

This was confirmed by T-Mobile store rep during Mother's Day $830 promo when I wanted to do the same thing.

Promo doesnt take effect until next bill period or when you get SMS confirmation and it start showing up under -> My Promition page in the account page.

2 EIP credit on the same line for two orders against one promotion simply wont work.

Check and report when it start showing up in the My.Promotion page in your online account.

You'll need to call them, there is nothing in the fine print about changing lines.
I called and was like on the call for 45 min or so. The agent said he's not able to find the LG velvet promo and he says the only one he is able to see is one that expired in 2020. In the end he said since I am on a very old select choice plan, these type of promotions usually require to convert to more recent plans as select choice is not available anymore in their system and any changes done cannot guarantee that the plan will remain the same. So it is a chance it looks like for those on select choice plans. I am probably not willing to take that chance. Thanks all for your responses.
