Seriously, what did you expect, it was a one day sale and it sold out. It happens. I have missed out on countless deals here by being late to the game. Not a big deal. Get over yourselves and move onto the next deal instead of acting immature by complaining or being butt hurt because they won't bend over backwards for you.

Not only will they be locked to T-Mobile, but don't be surprised by the fact that budget phones like these slice and dice which bands they support based upon the operator which sold them. In other words, this is not the same phone as similarly named model from Verizon, and would have different capacity to support functionality on networks outside of T-Mobile (they're all probably 100% fine enough for AT&T).

Presumably the only reason the LG is on this list is because they've abandoned the Android market. Otherwise, it does not belong in the category of free phone and will surely go out of stock VERY quickly after this deal goes live. The other freebie Samsung phones are somewhere between cruel jokes and OK as a dummy device to run your remote control app.

For Online purchases, you'll have to ship the phone back; it states stores can't accept returns of online purchases. You will not get the shipping refunded.

I just successfully got two LG phones but had to do two separate transactions. I'm on the north American plan (from 7 years ago). This was the upgrade and not adding a new line. Their website was buggy and needed me to add a new line an hour ago. I tried now and the button changed to upgrade.

I got the LG. I've been wanting a phone to keep in the center console of my car for wifi and Android auto. Even though it only takes a 15 second to get in and connect my own phone, it still bugs me sometimes, especially when I forget to take mine out. This phone will be perfect for that. Set up some tasker jobs and will be good to go.

WOW! $400 for the lg velvet? thats crazy! got mine used on fleabay for $90 a few months ago when Tello threatened to stop my service due to CDMA shutdown. i got an android 11 update this week for it.

I don't think we qualify unfortunately, at least not with the way the website is currently set up. If you log off, you are able to see the banner for free phone. As soon as I log in on my simple choice account, that banner will appear briefly before disappearing and there's no mention of $400 off anywhere in the checkout.
