The Hydraglyde version makes my contacts not as clear, almost foggy after awhile. If you search online, this seems to occur to other people too. I prefer the original.

Always been surprised at how much this stuff costs not on sale. Seems like it's a hydrogen peroxide mix and that's typically very cheap. I figured there'd would be someone that had a way to diy this yourself with basic peroxide instead.

I thought the same thing, but my guess is there's much more to it than that, otherwise a DIY alternative wouldn't be unheard of. Not to mention, I ain't tryin'a jack with chemistry on what I consider the most valuable of the senses.

I typically buy the Walmart brand of these for just over $10 and it does just fine/haven't noticed the difference other than the containers are HELLA more cheaply made.

For anyone wearing daily lenses that want to stretch their $….instead of throwing them away at night….be gentle removing, toss them in these and alternate between the 2 containers. At the beginning of the month, I start over with a new set of 2 pair, so I'm only wearing the same daily contacts for ~ 2 weeks. That initial set of "90 days" ends up lasting quite significantly more than a year, and I have extras to throw in the car, travel bags, etc. Just gotta buy a twin pack like this once a quarter, as a bottle typically lasts around 6 weeks.

From my experience, the contacts that have been sitting in the solution overnight feel BETTER than when they're brand new on the 1st day. Anecdotal: somehow, my vision has actually improved my last 2 eye exams. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Check expiration date. I did store pickup and one box had 6/2021 expiration.

"Expiration date" is for liability purposes. My $.02

We have one pair of eyes that can't be replaced if something damages them. That's the advice a pharmacist gave me a long time ago when I asked if I should buy the generic version.

Description says 24oz x 2 but picture show 12oz x 2.
I looked at this deal on my phone browser and ordered it. I drove out of my way to pick this up from the nearest Walgreens that had it in stock... and was disappointed. This product is definitely 12oz x 2 bottles = 24oz total. I guess I can blame myself for being so trusting of the OP's word choice, but "2-Pack 24oz" immediately makes me think of 48oz total. smh.

Lol. Everything in moderation, and take it all with a grain of salt. Do whatever works for you; generic seems to be working great for me. 😉

Walgreens instore Is terrible at my local store had everything set and they canceled two or my items costing me $10 in missed rewards I canceled entire order. Always a clunky and poor experience. I rather not waste my time again.

This is a very good product except that once in a while, I'd get lenses that sting my eyes. It seems that occasionally, the neutralization fails.

I do a similar - ish system where I alternate 2 pairs of contacts constantly. At night I put the set I wore that day in one container of clear care and move yesterdays set to front. In this way I've extended a years worth of disposables ( 1 set per month as directed) into about 6 years of use. I still get eye exam every year, but my eyes haven't changed.

This is the best contact solution you can get, period.

Amen to that. Exactly why I buy the twin pack and utilize both containers!
