This comment is only for the diy who are thinking of tackling a job in the house. Bought and used on wiring cat6e. I am a noob but only had to punch down 20 terminals. I do not work in the field just wanted to wire my house up. Tips if using this. Pick "a" or "b" set up and stick to it throughout. I used "a" so google pros and cons and make a few patch cables to play around with it and get used to the tool. Tip 2 leave enough of a pigtail so if you mess up you wont lose material to start a crimp over. And short wires are better for pass throughs than long wires, long wires bunch up as you are attempting to pass them through and come our of order. When straightening pairs of wires use something round to pull from the base of the wire to get it as straight as possible. This device has a cut off as apart of the crimp but make sure you have another pair of snips to cut the wires all the same length. Cut down to an inch and bend the wires back and forth between your thumbs to straighten them as much as possible. Slide in and crimp you just saved yourself several thousand dollars of hiring a wiring company. The build of this tool is solid would purchase at this price

Right, with your logic we should not buy or post deals here for the quality brands ...Dewalt, Milwaukee and so on. Should only buy off brands.

Don't kid yourself, you can buy this unlabeled same version crimper for $12-14 elsewhere like I did a couple years ago off AX. Do not waste your money buying a Klein branded white label tool. If it makes you feel better spending 2-3x on the same item with Klein branding.... Be my guest. But this earns a TD from me.

If you know of a better deal please post mate. No point telling people not to buy and than don't post a better deal.

By FAR, the best Ethernet terminating tool I have used. Use it often for work. Has every tool built in that you need to terminate cat5/6 when used with push through Ethernet cable ends.

Forget what the other user said, I use one of these, it's a high quality tool. This, coupled with some passthrough RJ45 ends, will save a ton of time running cable thanks to the crimp tool with the built in razor to trim the end. Most of the cheap crimpers don't seem to have this, or a notch to strip the cable to expose the twisted pairs.

You can get better quality replacement blades on Amazon for 10 bucks that seemingly last forever, but I've gotten a lot of use out of the ones that come with it. It also has charts on it for the cable pairs which is nice.

My 2 cents: I have a cheap tool (from a third part Amazon seller, all of them are the same I think), and yes I agree that Klein makes great tool and I am sure this one is excellent. I'd buy this if I haven't got the cheaper one. However if anyone ends up with a cheap crimper, just don't use it to trim the cable, use a good stripper with a good blade. Also I suggest not to use cheap RJ45 endings. Klein passthrough ones (although expensive) are great, your equipment ethernet port is more important than saving couple of bucks in RJ45 endings.

I've had great luck with trueCABLE crimper (no longer available, updated version linked below) and RJ45 unshielded connectors.

Platinum Tools are what this pro uses: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FI9VU2

The Platinum Tools crimper is better than the Klein, too, but quite a bit more costly: https://www.amazon.com/Platinum-T...B00939KFOU

Careful there with the Platinum connector as it appears it would not work with thick 23AWG
Cat 6A. The trueCABLE connectors work flawlessly for me.

trueCABLE Cat6A Extra Large RJ45 Pass Through Connectors:
Max Insulated wire OD: 1.05-1.15mm

Platinum Tools 100010C EX-RJ45 Cat 6+ Connector:
Max Insulated wire OD: 1.041mm (0.041")
