120Hz isn't just for gaming either. I wish people recognized that.
Most TV/Movie content is 24p (Hz).
60Hz TVs can't display 24p content w/o using 3:2 pulldown...which creates judder. 24Hz divides cleanly into 120Hz...no conversion.
All else equal, a 60Hz TV will never look as good as a 120Hz TV for almost all video content. It technically can't.
Now if the price is right, it might be good enough for someone (maybe those Switch players?)
If I'm spending extra bucks to get the best PQ I can (by buying OLED to begin with)...I'm not going to cheap out and get a 60Hz one personally.

Yes, all of the OLED considerations come into play. Risk of burn in, not as bright as some LCD panels, possible banding in some scenarios, etc. I'm just comparing A1 to C1. Comes down to what you're going to do with the TV and how particular you are about something like a little banding at the end of the day.

I feel like LG is just not trying to address it becuase they make all of the panels, anyway, so they know they will get all of the money one way or another. They seem stagnate where each new generation isn't MUCH better than the previous ones, although the adding of 120hz is one big difference.
I wish they'd bring 3d back too... That is on my samsung, but I've never tried it. lol. i just figure eventually I will and I hate having less options. I think projectors still have 3d.

Then of course both plasma and oled can get burn in, the plasma is insanely hot (it's right by my thermostat too so when I have the plasma on I have to set the air conditioner to 82 to make the temp really be right in here because it's affected by the heat from the plasma lol). And then the various led tvs usually have the light bleeding and/or ghosting, although I haven't looked much into the microled ones. i knew about them, but not what drawbacks they may have. I thought it was basically the same as older led displays with local dimming, but just smaller leds where there are more zones. I haven't even checked to see if they can still light just one or if it's zones.
