Seems like a good price and has decent amount of positive reviews. The WiFi portion of it seems to turn on both plugs at the same time though rather than individually.

Free shipping or in store pickup.

wemo is tied with "cync by ge" as the most pita smart switches/plugs/lights that ive dealt with. takes a ton of playing around to get them connected in the beginning... and then when you do get them, they are constantly shown as "not detected" for no reason. for days on end. and then just as mysteriously they will show back up and start working again. ive owned them for 5+years and theyve always been like this.

the nicest thing about the switches though is that you can set them up so long presses turn on other wemo lights. so if you have a (non dimmer) wall switch, a long press of that can turn on this outdoor plug.

this is a decent price though.
I would avoid Wemo switches. The whole system including the app is buggy. There are times when the switch no more becomes visible in the app. And you have to go through the entire reset and setup process to make them work again.
Just checked for outdoor smart plugs in amazon -- the Kasa Outdoor Smart Plug with two, individually controlled outlets (new version) is $19.99, down from $24.99,

https://www.amazon.com/Kasa-Smart...B091FXH2FR

although it won't ship until Dec 23 or after

I have the exact same experiences. Had a power outage yesterday. Wemo couldn't detect my devices when the power came back on. All of my Leviton smart switches and Kasa smart plugs came right back seamlessly. Still messing with getting Wemo working. Luckily I got good deals on Kasa and Leviton for cyber Monday so I am changing them out and trashing all three Wemo plugs and Wemo switch. I can finally delete the Wemo app after 6 years of fighting with it.

fark WeMo. I've had such a shitty experience with their mini smart plugs that I'm not bothering with WeMo again.

I have two of these and they work fine. You can turn on or off each outlet independently.

I ended up buying the Tp-Link outdoor plug instead. While I don't treat Wirecutter ratings as bible. This review of the WeMo plug was enough to keep my away:

"The Wemo WiFi Smart Outdoor Plug is a disappointment on many levels. The temperature range is too narrow for an outdoor plug (just 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit), and we found our custom schedules were routinely ignored. And even though it has two outlets, they can't be controlled independently."

2.4 or 5ghz compatible? I keep blindly buying 2.4 but need 5...it's my fault, I know but I'm trying!

I just bought two outdoor and three indoor to setup Xmas lights, but mine are setup via HomeKit. Never used their actual app. Granted it's only been two weeks, but so far, they connected near instantly and have never had a hiccup yet that I noticed. Maybe I'll experience issues down the road though.

Does it work with SmartThings hub?

These are wifi, so no. They do work with Google home.

Just bought the Wyze equivalent of this. I have no experience with smart plugs. Any advantage to the Wemo one?

The Kasa stuff trumps this.

Agreed, for the past 6-9 months, the Wemo cloud service has been unreliable. Because the the wemo cloud service is unreliable, anything that integrates/relies with the wemo cloud service is also unreliable such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Edit: Sorry, I thought this was a Kasa deal. I didn't read the post well at all. I'd say the best current deal I see right now on these is a two pack at Sams Club for $30. I picked mine up today. This is of course if you have a Sams membership and if you need two.

Id avoid wemo. I have many of their switches and very similar experience to other posters. After 3 years, their dimmer are still not integrated with smartthings. Im waiting for them to die so i have an excuse to change them out. Im too lazy otherwise.

hard to say, I have similar meross wifi plug that finally stop working after 3 years, could be shorted or just failed, can't tell.. sat outside 24/7 including snow storms.. I think if it drips down, the water doesn't really go into the socket.. I usually use some dielectric grease around the plug area. that's what I usually do for outdoor xmas decoration and stuff.

I think they might be sold out. Keep getting an error when trying to add to cart from bestbuy.com.
