Code worked for me. I needed another after I discovered amazon claims I only ordered 1 drive... which is BS because I remember the original order total for the drives and synchology. Going forward I'll screenshot my checkout on important items.

I got one of these Black Friday. After copying files it started making a grinding noise. Sent it back to Amazon and they sent me a replacement. New one is also making the grinding noise.

Both manufactured Aug 2021.

SMR is a bit slower when rewriting "used" sectors because of the way data overlaps.
not an issue unless you're doing frequent "erase/write" like with a parity driver...
