These are the good Red Plus CMR drives!

Regular WD reds are SMR and kinda suck.

If I have a 2 bay NAS, then I would need 2 of these? Right? Means 2 of either 2TB/4TB/6TB? Sorry, new to NAS... Bounce

Yes. You can probably start with 1 but I would run them as a mirror for redundancy in a 2 bay unit.

Better for servers, you'd be better off with Purple drives for cameras as they're meant for constant reads and writes as opposed to Red which is more about reads.
