$10 is a great price, but I'm having trouble understanding how to watch live and record. I get there's no built in memory, sounds like the Eufy battery doorbell where you have a central local powered device (Homebase) for storage? In that case it's to save battery but this is just to save cost? If I get the centralized module, can I have multiple of these cameras recording to it? And access without paying a sub? What about live streaming, I'm seeing reviews that you can't, even though it's plugged in? Thanks.

For local storage, you need the sync module (not included in this deal) with a usb thumb drive if you don't use their subscription service. I think $3 for one device and $10 for multiple. The outdoor Blink cameras come with a sync module which I got. The cameras come with a free month of online service. I have not used the local storage option yet.. I have 3 minis, 4 XT2s and the Blink video doorbell. First try at external monitoring. I like that it meshes with Alexa and our 3 Echo Shows. Video quality is good and audio is serviceable.
Things that I don't like. Only 1 person can view live view or be in the app at a time. I can't figure out how to show video on our Roku TV. I wish response time was a little faster but this is my first system so nothing to compare it to. I heard reviews about issues with local storage being even slower with less options than the subscription service.
I got most everything cheap on Woot and on Amazon over Black Friday so pricewise, nothing to complain about. I will keep tinkering.
In my opinion, for a low end camera, Wyze is much better. I use a Nest IQ indoor camera and a Nest Hello doorbell & have a Wyze on my screened porch & Wyze cams at 2 other houses. I have a Blink mini in the garage and it's terrible. Background noise while viewing & awful low light viewing.
