Unfortunately, the Series S is a digital only system. From all my years of experience, I have never seen a physical copy also come with a digital copy of the full game as well. There are cases where the physical game is the base game, and the digital code is all the DLC...these are typically Game of the Year or Complete editions. There are also cases where the physical copy doesn't contain an actual disc/cartridge, but only a digital code. They aren't like movies where you get both a full physical copy and also a full digital copy.
In short, you cannot buy this for your Series S.

Last week I ordered an Xbox Series S and am waiting for it to arrive this week. My current understanding with buying games is you can only buy digital games/codes, and not the actual hard copy from the store. Can someone confirm this? It seems like hard copy games like this come on sale at better prices than digital games, but I'd like to know if a hard copy game still comes with a digital code for Series S. Thank you!
