Cool...
It's a 12v ... it's not the tool you want for driving in 16" Timber Lags.
...
Come next year, or 2023at the latest, Bosch will dominate the 18v lineup as well. The lineup if tools being tested right now are unreal. It's primarily because they are actually listening to what people want.
Also, my brushless PS22 has a delay on trigger squeeze that I dislike: I strongly prefer the brushed PS21.
If you're looking to spend more money on Bosch 12V, I recommend the GLI12V-300N light and their oscillating tool.
Come next year, they will be releasing some new things that many people here in the US have begged for them to come to the NA market... One *might* be a certain 12v impact driver that is an amazing little monster. 😉😉 .
Also, they *might* be adding their Bluetooth mod to it so that you can turn the delay on or off.
Personally, I love the Bosch app and its current features. Having options for a slow start on a lot of tools is great... especially on the 740 impact wrench. They OP'd that tool, and the 0 to 0.3 speed of light that is standard with that trigger can be really painful.
Also, having Bosch upgrading tools helps out other brands because of how they copy Bosch so much. Lol.
So next year, it will be a Bosch Bonanza. They've come out of nowhere and Ninja'd the industry.
So if you have your PS22 keep an eye out for an email. And keep an eye on their press releases as well.

Edit: Sorry for the lack of elaboration. Agree with @cmudnd . This version is so impressive I can't see the brushless being worth it unless you plan on using it 8 hours a day 5 days a week. Otherwise the spec comparison doesn't seem worth it.
Since I liked the impact driver, I sold the PS-31 and replaced it with a refurbished Bosch GSR12V-300 that I bought for $79. I'm much happier with the GSR version. It feels nearly as powerful as my 18v drills.
