I did buy Fold 3 couple months ago and I ended up selling it and I get the ultra instead.
1- the phone is too narrow when it's folded so you have to unfold it for better experience.
2- as a someone who uses social media apps it's not easy to pull out your phone and take snapchat or instagram pic right a way.
3- almost all cases with Spen are bulk and huge so I ended up leaving the SPen which is really not good.
4- watching youtube videos not great because of the Screen ratio. Basically it's even smaller than regular phones.
5- battery is really bad, Will die before the end of the day.
6- some apps look bad even if you adjust resolution and the screen ratio, for example Facebook app looks really ugly.

With all that being said I still recommend this phone if you don't mind those issues this ua really a good price.

Sorry. I missed it
No sweat, it was a lot to read through. If your wife likes taking selfies, the Fold 3 might actually be the better choice because you can use the rear cameras for selfies and frame the shot with the front screen. Rear cameras are typically better than the front screen cameras.

Was anyone able to get past this whoever faced this issue? I am trying since last night but no success…I even tried with my wife's details after mine…but still getting the same issue…
Ok folks. Made the deal at BB for $899.00 with activation of a new line. Was told by the BB agent that can cancel the new line after 60 days. BB agent recommend that I get T-Mobile to transfer my current number and data to the Fold Z because he was not sure he could do the workaround without the new number being an issue. Will deal with T-Mobile tomorrow. Overall happy with purchase at this price. Wink

Might be worth it to you to call T-Mobile and cancel today. Some of reported same day cancellation doesn't result in a month's bill.

Looks like they lowered the trade in value on a s21 ultra 256gb, yesterday it was $625, now as others reported its $575 for all variations of the Ultra

I haven't gone through the checkout process. Does the $900 get paid immediately to Best Buy? If so, what if anything happens after you cancel the new line on TMobile after 60 days?

Yes you pay BB immediately. As far as I know, you are not under contract with T-Mobile and there's not subsidized promo from T-Mobile so you should be good to go.

How warranted is the reviews on the hinge and screen folding issues? This kind of makes me scared of buying this phone. Good deal never-the-less for a really expensive phone.
Pre-ordered the fold 3 and have had it since they 1st shipped and I have read about screens getting jacked up but mine is going good and I can't tell u how many times I've banged and dropped my phone

I was debating with myself if I should get this or not, to upgrade from iPhone 11 Pro Max. I've finally decided to give it a try. I always wanted an iPad mini with a sim card, and this seems exact that. If I hate it, I will trade it in for a traditional phone next year, and hopefully I can get great trade in credits for this phone. I am going with Tmobile since it's $100 cheaper and cancel the line on the first day.
