1. The car-optimized microphone array - this will become your speakerphone mic when calling by voice - especially useful if your vehicle no (or bad) handsfree microphone.
2. The blue/Green status light bar.
3. "Alexa" and "Mute" buttons.
Definitely worth the $15.
I however would NOT use the mount it comes with, and simply double side tape it in a more inconspicuous area - which would differ from car to car.

instead use Siri or Google assistant, or Alexa app on your phone for smart home hands-free assistance.
Check with your insurance if offer still there
Never used it
Don't even know where that thing is.
I've never seen this thing for more than $29 and often at this $14 price point.
Never seen it listed at $50 and would think that's a gross expense for what it claims to do.
If you don't want to switch from Apple or Google for some car functions; I would think you're not part of the Alexa family of voice devices to begin with.

Not saying it couldn't happen. But if that's really a concern, then moving is a bigger priority.
