That being said, they do work with G-Sync as rmm64 stated. I have had this monitor since April of 2020, and I've used it with a 1060 and now a 3060Ti, and the variable refresh rate/G-Sync works well.
I'm a big fan of this monitor, to be honest. Good bang for the buck, and especially at this price.
Another plus is being able to fit two documents side by side on the screen. The software LG offers for dividing your screen into multiple zones looks kind of goofy, but works pretty well and isn't a resource hog like OEM apps sometimes are.
Still good for gaming though.
be patient and you should be able to find a 32-34 inch ips 144hz or above 1ms gaming monitor for $300+-
the one i have currently was $800 and I'm confident this time next year it will be less than 1/2 of that.
My only real issue with VA is that text looks jagged to me. It's fine for gaming but fire up Excel and it's so noticeable and no Clear Type changes help.
The problem going forward is that they are "retiring" the HDMI 2.0 name. So now everything will be HDMI 2.1 even if it doesn't have VRR, 48Gbps etc. They become "optional." People are going to have to dig into the spec sheets to make sure they are getting real 2.1.

I'm going to be building an arcade console and wanted a 32" screen. Would this monitor be good for that?

They seriously hide this info and it's a key spec!
350 is more than fine. Have you compared them to whatever nit you find acceptable and can you share your findings. I have screens ranging from 250 to 400 and they are all fine and in fact get turned down due to brightness.
Can you share your nit findings so we can see what you're saying? Or do you just want the latest and greatest marketing gimic?
