After getting it for free the last couple of years, that link only shows $20 off. Bummer!
UPDATE: Nvm! I see it on the summary page after refreshing a couple of times.
How to download instead of online version?
UPDATE: Figured out how to download. After logging in, I reopened the Fidelity link, on the top menu goto file your taxes, cd/download, compare products, and the premier should be $0. Had to try this several times but finally got the download version.
Ah bummer, I don't see it anywhere in my account. Only the $20 offer.
I would think most people with a $500,000 minimum portfolio aren't going to use Turbo Tax for their taxes.
Isn't Fidelity high in fees? I remember talking to them and they seemed on the very high end. Can't remember specifics. Was recommended to use an AI fund with really low fees over Fidelity.
iwheela
I certainly use TT now that my tax situation as a retired CEO has simplified. Easy and accurate. As far a fees: The best choice for ETFs has long been Vanguard. I keep large amounts of $$ there and wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
This is what I'm getting for Turbo Tax Premier download:

Got it! First time I got this when the promo starts, I usually get it some time in January. If you meet the requirements, hang tight, you'll get it in January!
The requirements are a bit ambiguous, but usually if you are an active trader or have minimum $500k in non-retirements accounts or combined $1mm for all accounts. Typing these requirements from memory, so may not be 100% accurate.
Are you sure on those requirements? If so let me call up fidelity...
For people worrying about paying e-file fee for state for download version. I can tell from my experience with CT state e-file process, I usually e-file federal in TT and then print State returns for paper filing and it is very easy to copy paste those numbers in CT state DRS website, I hope other states will have similar process. It takes 5 mins for me to e-file my state returns in CT state DRS website. Hope this helps someone.
