After getting it for free the last couple of years, that link only shows $20 off. Bummer!
UPDATE: Nvm! I see it on the summary page after refreshing a couple of times.
How to download instead of online version?
UPDATE: Figured out how to download. After logging in, I reopened the Fidelity link, on the top menu goto file your taxes, cd/download, compare products, and the premier should be $0. Had to try this several times but finally got the download version.
Ah bummer, I don't see it anywhere in my account. Only the $20 offer.
Thanks OP! I got Premier for free! I have a small account with them, but I've made almost 200 trades this year, so I guess that qualifies as Active trading.
same deal as others, will provide an equivalent GC as others for a Premier Code! Just didn't trade enough to qualify for this!
Thanks in advance.
Please hit me up!
Costco deal for Premier is currently $69 for both Federal and State. With this $20 off deal from Fidelity, you get the Federal for $54 plus the state for $39 or $93 for both. Their normal price for both is $85.....meaning if you take this deal, you'll lose 8 bucks....Wow! Thanks Fidelity and TurboTax for putting that deal together!
Not a good deal unless of course, you are one of the fortunate that qualify for the freebie mentioned
I wish other financial companies would have offered this program for free to their customers too.
Companies like Chase, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, Schwab and Etrade.
As far as I know none of these companies do, I wish that they did.
If you do know about this please share here.
Thanks.
They have never needed to probably because the IRS Free File program exists. Now that Intuit are being greedy tightfisted monkeys and charge for all of their services now, chance that more banks will make this kind of offer for customers.
If more companies follow Intuit and stop offering free file, I hope Americans wake up and vote to abolish the need to file our taxes altogether. Many other countries, like UK, do taxes automatically. The only reason US citizens still have to do it is because companies like Intuit lobby against automatic filing pursuits for the sake of their shitty business.

Doesn't Amazon do an annual New Years special on TT?
