Get your refund quickly by direct depositing into your Fidelity account"

To access download version:
1. Click link from Fidelity to be directed to TurboTax site.
2. Once on TurboTax site, click File Your own Taxes on top left corner.
3. Click CD/Download Products
4. Click Compare All products

After getting it for free the last couple of years, that link only shows $20 off. Bummer!
UPDATE: Nvm! I see it on the summary page after refreshing a couple of times.

How to download instead of online version?
UPDATE: Figured out how to download. After logging in, I reopened the Fidelity link, on the top menu goto file your taxes, cd/download, compare products, and the premier should be $0. Had to try this several times but finally got the download version.

Ah bummer, I don't see it anywhere in my account. Only the $20 offer.

Anyone have easier way to get download code to someone else. I gave it to my friends last year but I could not just just give them code to download the turbotax. I had to make sure they set up a intuit account, sign in, have it verified then they could enter code.

Has anyone been able to just give someone a code and the download works without having to ask someone for their intuit account number and email?

You don't need to login to their site, all you need is the download and the code. You could stash the file on Google Drive or someplace like that and let your friend download from there. Or give them your login, assuming there is nothing private there. I don't see how someone creating an account on their site can access the download if it was not purchased on their account.

Thanks, for info. The problem I had in past was finding way for someone to download the file without logging into Intuit or giving them my password and login. Can I send the file via google drive without an issue

Yes, just download it on your machine and store it on Google Drive (maybe you can avoid the middleman and save it directly on Google Drive when downloading). Then share the file with your friend.
