After getting it for free the last couple of years, that link only shows $20 off. Bummer!
UPDATE: Nvm! I see it on the summary page after refreshing a couple of times.
How to download instead of online version?
UPDATE: Figured out how to download. After logging in, I reopened the Fidelity link, on the top menu goto file your taxes, cd/download, compare products, and the premier should be $0. Had to try this several times but finally got the download version.
Ah bummer, I don't see it anywhere in my account. Only the $20 offer.
Plus the 20 off that many of us are seeing is for the most expensive product, otherwise it's 10-15 off. Not sure if this is a deal. For brokerage investments I only need deluxe correct? Or do I need premier.
If you use the ONLINE version of this Premier promo, both Federal and State e-file will be FREE.
However, if you do the DOWNLOAD route, the Federal e-file is free, and you get one State download, but the STATE E-FILE is NOT FREE. The State E-file cost is based on the date that you e-file: $20 if you file earlier, but $25 as you get closer to the deadline. (the exception is New York state, where there is no state e-file fee).
Just wanted everyone to know.
I'll still be doing the Download route (like I did last year), as it is more comprehensive, and will just have to stomach the additional State e-file fee. I paid $25 in April.
Mailing in the state forms usually isn't too bad, for $25 I opt to take the 5-10 minutes to print, sign, and stick them in an envelope with 2 stamps.
I also only got the $20 deal for this, so I'll just do what I have the last several years, wait until late December and get it for $45-$55.

In previous years, the online version of Deluxe didn't include the necessary forms for my brokerage transactions, I had to buy Premier. Last year, I found out the download Deluxe version contains all those forms. I bought it after Christmas from the Amazon deal. After figuring out how to transfer my previous year tax info from the online version to the download Deluxe, it worked perfectly. I still like the Online version better.
This offer has a link to a sign in page. I signed into my fidelity account and found nothing in the summary page. Don't sign in. It could be an phising attempt to get your login information
