This is a great deal. I have the 960 EVO 500GB as my boot device on my Windows 11 PC. It's been powered on 13,000 hours has 30TB written. So, not in need of an upgrade at this time, but I will say I'm pleased with my 960.

Great price but you're right. You should do nothing smaller than 1TB these days. BTW, earlier today, B&H had a $10 coupon on the 1TB making the final price $109.00. So that's pretty good on price and size.

Bought one and a nvme enclosure for ~$80 for some high-speed storage. Roughly the same price as a Samsung T7 and could always use this as a boot drive later. Thanks.

perfect for my oldish gaming rig running a 1080 which i'm thankful to have these days. two 500 gb drives is plenty to keep quite a few AAA titles installed and a boatload of smaller games.

Bought a 970 EVO (non-Plus) last year for $60, and thought it was a good deal then. Lightning fast in my gaming PC. I pretty much only play single-player games, so 500 GB is good enough for me, but most gamers will probably want 1 TB.

980 is better. Both are great. In real-world-use, it'd be rare to notice a difference. Would have to be a lot of reading or writing at once.
