Do you game? If you don't, this isn't for you.
I got the white one a month ago for $138. The battery life is excellent and it is extremely responsive as a wireless mouse as compared to my G900. It is also extremely light, to the point where sometimes it's hard to control as I've been used to moving around mice with a bit more weight for 30ish years. So, I'm adjusting. Would I recommend it? Maybe. I'm still deciding. It's better than the G900 for sure. I like the form factor a lot more for my big hands vs the G900. The only thing that the G900 wins at is it being side button customizable and infinity scroll (I miss the scroll). But, you can't have everything for this kind of weight.

Is any mouse really worth more than $50? Probably not. This is a luxury buy. An average computer user should stay far far away from this device. This is for people who are hard core into playing games and that's it.

Uh oh not a USB-C wireless receiver though so not Mac or Microsoft Surface New gen compatible without a USB hub on certain model's, Then again most wireless mouse's now a days are like that.

How does this compare to the G9X? I've had this mouse for years, wondering if I should upgrade since it's been so long.

Bc RGB gonna drain the battery like crazy especially if you wanna go wireless all the time.

I prefer no rgb so you dont have to worry about charging it as much.

I bought this mouse when it came out and i have no regrets despite it being very expensive for a mouse.

Its an end game mouse imo. i've owned many logitech mice and they've all had the double click issue but this one does not so far, surprisingly.

material feels solid and the light weight is amazing for fps games.

expsenive? yes worth it though? yes
Pretty sure it was sarcasm.

it's the highest used mouse or the non-super light version for pro players for Apex Legends, Overwatch, Valorant and bunch more. the only game where it's not #1 is CS:GO where it's 2nd.

this barely ever goes on sale so maybe they're planning another incremental upgrade like usb-c or something.

$120 for mouse? Total craziness. "Slick", sure. Name price $150 and off $30 - "holy cow, deal!", old trick. Should cost $20.
Got bunch of good mices (wireless/wire, light, ventilation, Pixart sensor) - each $10 only, now $15.

Logitech G9X was seen as the best gaming mouse ever.. even Linus on YouTube said it was his favorite ever.

I spent years (after mine broke) buying the most popular gaming mice there is. They are great values, no doubt but they're not the best and they have many very annoying features from a gear shaped scroll wheel to needless buttons and a thumb rest.

This mouse is the only mouse that not only is on par with the G9X but is superior.

What I love about it:
  • Battery life is god like and the recharge time is extremely short. Charge while playing still and you get an indication on Windows itself that the battery is getting low.
  • Super light.. it really is VERY light. G9X has weights which was a great idea but I will never ever go back to a heavy mouse after this. I do agree, lighter the better. This one is one of the lightest if not thee lightest on the market that's mainstream.
  • Scroll wheel on most mice suck. I think the G9x has the best scroll wheel ever but this isn't bad at all. The soft rubber ribbed texture is there. Also very easy to click it down or to the side.
  • Height of the mouse is amazing. I have most popular mice if you remember.. they all tend to be higher than this one. G9X is very low to modern mice.. this is closest to that but I've never once felt "Im getting a cramp." excellent design
  • Skip pads work real well, they get better over time. It's so freaking smooth even on a cheap mousepad.
  • Grips that it comes with I havent used but I hear they're on par with the best aftermarket brands
My score: Perfect rating

Awesome. Thank you for the insight! Is there any latency issues vs wired? I play a lot of fps. Not sure if it's worth the upgrade if my G9X is still working fine though.

I have been using this mouse for a few months and it is every bit as good as advertised, and totally worth it at this price. Who cares if it doesn't have USB-C, you hardly ever have to charge it!

I should mention I did replace the skates on mine with the Core Pads, not very expensive and they make an already amazing mouse as close to perfect as possible for FPS games in my opinion.

I have trigger finger (bent ring finger on right hand). Would this be better or worse than regular mouse for a non-gamer? Also, good for non-gamer-price aside?

If you are not a gamer I would not recommend this mouse when you can get something like the G305 Lightspeed for 30 bucks... What makes this mouse so expensive are the features that are specific to playing FPS games.

What is the best mouse to buy if you are a non-gamer and do not care how much it cost?

Was in the same boat and agree with the above. If you're happy with what you have, I'd say keep it and use that money to upgrade another component like gpu/cpu.
